From the Heart of Divine Mother’s, or Sophia’s, Black Womb came the first sound of Creation — sacred primordial Om. This was Her rhapsodic birthing cry, Her longing to create, to celebrate, to share and experience Herself in every living thing. Like the mothers of this world, Om was her moan and groan, joyously so.

Om is the sound frequency foundational to all others in the Multiverse. Every note, whether it be a hum, word, cry, scream, laugh, crash, crack or whoosh, has roots in om-nipresent Om. Each sound, audible to human ears or higher angelic hearts, resonates with and is inseparable from this primordial Cosmic vibration.

There are certain sounds, however, that harmonize more fully with Om, and thus the Divine Mother; or that more authentically “speak” Her primeval first “Word,” referring to Genesis. Whales and Wind hauntingly sing from the dark ancient depths of Om, while heavy metal music and jack hammer noise are waves of a chaotic ocean surface, to use extreme examples.

The myriad hymns of Mother Nature are authentic outflows of Om, with certain ones emanating powerful, global transmissions, like the musical scores of Dolphins that weave Earthly life into harmonious union. Music of master artists like Yanni, also bringing the world together with each vibrational tone, immaculately rises as well from the rich foundation of Om.

Bathing ourselves with the pure sound frequencies of Mother Nature and inspired artists, and spending time with kind people, goes a long way in nourishing our heart and body, and uplifting our spirit — in harmonizing with Om. As does expressing ourselves from our Heart, in Truth, whether that be in intimate conversation, at work, or creatively.

In a series of stunning experiments, Dr. Masaru Emoto revealed the power of sound and its impact on water crystals. He placed glasses of pure water beside various sound patterns, like music and prayer, and using microscopic photos captured the changing formations of molecular structure. For example, music by Mozart turned molecules into a beautiful crystal form, whereas heavy metal music obliterated the structure into an undifferentiated, ugly mess.

When we consider that our bodies are made up of 70% water, Dr. Emoto’s discoveries are essential teachings informing us of how to take care of our health and wellness. The crystalline, or Christ-aligned, consciousness of our Soul lights up and transforms our neurobiology and its crystal formations when we embrace pure expressions of sacred primordial Om.

Chanting Om harmonically reconciles us with Sophia’s Black Womb, and the infinite array of divine qualities and wisdom within this sacred primordial space. This awakens unimaginable healing and empowering frequencies and possibilities in our temple body’s subatomic universe. Also called DNA or light code activation, our crystalline Soul Blueprint that perfectly mirrors the entire Blueprint of Creation comes alive psychosomatically.

In resonant accord with Om’s primordial sound waves, our mind quiets and muscles soften, and our breath slows and deepens. We connect to our forgotten emotional body, to the stories of old, even painful ones. The petals of our Sacred Rose Heart relax and unfurl, and we return more fully to our Cosmic origins.

Chanting Om and feeling its ancient presence, we resonate with the still space of no-thing, the dark, fertile zero-point of Sophia’s Womb. Om returns us to the primordial space from which we all emerged and to which we all eventually return, the Holy of Holies where we rest in peace.

In this ceremony, you experience a direct transmission of Om from our Sacred Mother. It is Her great joy to grace you with the primordial sound of your Soul, so its sacred frequencies heal the pains and programming of old, and birth new life into your quantum universe. Her ancient chant helps you remember that, as a living fractal of All That Is, Om is who you are. It’s the First Song of your Soul.

Sophia’s loving Om is a Homing Signal for you, returning you to this awareness, as it is for all of life. Attuning to Om reminds you of your place of belonging. Longing is the heart’s cry and quest for belonging — to be that which we long for, and truly, what we already are. Feeling Om in your cells and heart in this ceremony, you experience the Heart of hOMe that has never left you, the still place within, in Divine Mother’s wOMb.

“Everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round . . . The sky is round and I have heard the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind in its greatest power whirls, birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours. The sun comes forth and goes down again in a circle. The moon does the same and both are round. Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. Our teepees were round like the nests of birds. And they were always set in a circle, the nation’s hoop.” ~ Chief Black Elk

Having creatively revealed a few Om secrets — some wordplay, hidden meanings and deeper wisdom, this is a good time to dive further down into the delicious and playful Om Mysteries of your Soul, and ancient wor(l)ds.

Let’s start with the word woman. It contains the sound and root of womb, and the weavings of Om. But there also lies man. Womb-man. From the primordial Feminine Christ Womb there birthed the Divine Masculine, or “man.” This is not about gender, of course. In other words, as I write about here, and as the ancients knew, the Divine Feminine is the primordial Cause, its Black Womb giving rise to the “One Begotten” Sun (“Son”), or solar Christ impulse of the Multiverse. In chanting Om, light was born.

Om is also the first two letters of Mo-ther, with the O being a feminine symbol representing the round pregnant belly, or womb. The circular feminine is also the architecture of our ancient ancestors who held the Goddess as primeval in the architecture of the Cosmos; who honoured the Great Round, the Cosmic Egg, the Circle of Life, woven into the sacred geometry of Mother Nature. Examples of their circular, sacred architecture include the stone circles of England and Ireland; the ceremonial earth mounds of the United States and England, with Silbury Hill in Wiltshire comparable in size to the Egyptian pyramids; and the 11,600 year-old megalithic womb temple of Göbekli Tepe, meaning “Hill of the Navel,” in southeastern Turkey.

Within the innermost sanctuary of the Temple at Delphi, considered the most sacred site in ancient Greece, rest a sacred mound-shaped stone called omphalos, or om-phalos, meaning navel or belly button. Delphi, which means womb, was visited by rulers, nobility and laypeople, alike, including the “Father of Philosophy” himself, Pythagoras. They sought sage, prophetic guidance from the indwelling temple Oracle priestesses, called Pythia, on matters ranging from war strategy, socio-economic, domestic and ethics.

O is not only the first vowel sound of Mother, womb, home, and omphalos, but also Oneness, Sophia, God/dess, Oversoul, Soul, love, holy and whole. (Special mention to longing, no-thing, the tomb of womb, and the ancient feminine amniotic ocean and mo-on! O is also the first vowel sound of vowel and sound!) There are heavenly words like divine, sacred, peace, spirit and stillness, that do not contain O at all; but as an inquisitive wordsmith (who admits he’s focusing on the English language), I cannot help but notice the pattern of how O appears not only in the aforementioned words, but is their first, and arguably, primary vowel sound.

Vowels, as we’ll explore further in the next few paragraphs, represent and express the Divine Feminine. In both its capital and small versions, O is the only letter — vowel or consonant — that is completely non-linear and without end in design. It is the Ouroboros of letters, the ancient Egyptian and Greek symbol of a circular Snake devouring its tail — a word with four O‘s! In ancient cultures, the Snake or Serpent was almost always associated with the Goddess, as well as rebirth. The Ouroboros symbolized this, and our eternal, creative nature.

The Ouroboros, the ancient Egyptian and Greek Circle of Life, representing our eternal creative nature that devours as it births.

The ancient Hebrew and Egyptian languages omitted vowels from their writing, for they were considered sacred expressions of the Divine, infused with the Breath of Life. There is beautiful truth in this that I’ll now take a bit further, with some nuance. Vowels are feminine sounds because they are fluid, with the holy Breath of Life creating an abundant free-flow of sound and vibration. Consonants, however, are generally more rigid, restricting breath. The majority of consanants serve the purpose of the masculine principle, which is to contain or provide structure for the wild, fluid breath of the Feminine Christ; like rocks to fire, a fire that needs air to burn bright. Laugher, crying, screaming, moaning and groaning, as with young, wild children or those in sexual ecstasy, and the sounds of animals, wind and water, are all primal expressions of the Breath of Life, of the Divine Feminine, with little, if any, restriction from consonant sounds. These primal human sounds are rich with e-motion — energy in motion. Liberated vowel sounds, as we hear in passionate singers holding long notes, bring forth the emotional tones of our raw, alive humanity, and birth our creative power.

How perfect it is, then, that Om in home and womb is contained by a silent (unobtrusive) consonant on the right, and the first and second most breath-filled consonants on the left, respectively. H and W are the most feminine, fluid and breathy of the 21 consonants. And M, the fourth consonant in the mix, compared to say B, K and T, allows our breath to freely move and sound as we chant Om.

The ancient wisd-om of the English language ensured that Om in home and womb would flourish; that the masculine presence of consonants integrates well with the feminine breath, maximizing the expression of Sophia’s secret transmission in each word. Herein lies the sacred and forgotten purpose of the Divine Masculine — to serve the Feminine Christ in Her wild, fluid, fiery Shakti dance!

Continuing on with our Om Mysteries, the M of this primordial sound wave clandestinely exposes the descending feminine impulse signified by the V contained by the pillars of sacred masculine holding — IVI.

V stands for and symbolically represents the Vulva and Vagina. It’s also the shape of the uterus. Throughout time works of art have been created with this sacred womb gateway beautifully and unbridely shown, celebrating the power of the Feminine Mysteries housed in the temple body. Here is one example from Aboriginal Australia; and another in this thangka, or Tibetan Buddhist painting, of master teacher Sukhasiddhi Yogini. The 12th century Christian mystic, Hildegard von Bingen, was also known for her heretical feminine artwork exposing the forbidden yoni passageway to the divine. For more, please read the wonderful, award-winning book, Womb Awakening.

As alluded to, throughout Old Europe and beyond, Goddess cultures flourished, far more than modern, patriarchal minds steeped in dominance want us to know. Archaeologists have discovered figurines dedicated to the Goddess incised with ideograms or symbols of “meanders, chevrons, V’s, X’s, whirls, circles, and multiple lines,” scholar Riane Eisler writes. However, Lithuanian archaeologist and anthropologist Marija Gimbutas tells us that“The V is one of the most frequently encountered marks on figurines and other cult objects.” The V was, and still is, a primal symbol of the Divine Feminine woven neatly into OM.

With this said, the Divine Feminine is not limited to one direction, down in this case; just as the Divine Masculine is not the ascending impulse only. Down and up are illusions, just as good and bad are. Two people gazing directly above at the sky on opposite poles are both looking upwards, but one’s up is another’s down. Everything is One, as the Chinese Yin Yang symbol teaches. Few notice that it’s a frozen spiral, spiralling feminine and masculine, the illusory polarities of life, inwards, into One.

The ancients of the Far East knew Om intimately as the primordial sound of creation. In the celebrated mantras of Indian, Tibetan and Buddhist cultures, Om is the first or base frequency tone. From its fertile primordial resonance, that invokes the Divine Mother, flowers the remaining words of the mantra, a microcosm of Om’s Cosmic presence as the root for all sound.

Let’s look at a few examples now.

Om Mane Padme Hum. Associated with Ascended Master Quan Yin of the Buddhist cosmology, this mantra means hail to the jewel in the lotus. It reminds us that we are that precious jewel, and the lotus is our heart and body, blossoming into fullness.

Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha. Associated with Ascended Master Green Tara of the Tibetan Buddhist cosmology, this mantra supports us to release attachments, embody our divinity, and share it in service of the liberation of all beings. I find it to be a fun mantra to chant because of its syllable cadence and vowel repetition.

A classic Indian mantra is Om Namo Narayanaya, also fun to chant for similar reasons. Considered the ancient chant of peace, and appearing in both the Tarasara Upanishad and the Sama Veda, Namo means to bow, Nara means water, and anaya means resting place. By chanting Om Namo Narayanaya, we are surrendering to the peaceful Amniotic Ocean of Sophia’s Black Womb.

The lengthier and powerful Moola Mantra and Gayatri Mantra also begin with Om. They are widely enjoyed within the global chanting family.

Going back millennia, these and other sacred mantras have been chanted privately in one’s own company, or ceremonially in spiritual gatherings. In India there exists a rich tradition of ecstatic chanting called kirtan, commonly led by harmonium (keyboard-wind instrument) and tabla (percussion) players. With help from luminaries like Paramahansa Yogananda, instrumental in bridging esoteric Oriental traditions with the spiritually impoverished Occident in the first half of the 20th century, kirtan found roots in Euro-western hearts.

For me this was certainly true. In Vancouver, where I currently reside, I led a kirtan community for eight years called Spirit Voice. I experienced the joy of sharing these ancient mantras and witnessing their power to quiet the mind, uplift the human spirit, and connect souls in satsang, or spiritual communion with others.

The harmonium, which I play, is a beautiful, rich, drone-sounding instrument that fills the spaces of kirtan. As a grounding conductor of sound, it performs a similar role as a bass guitar by blending all instruments together. It also grounds and unites the Spirit Voices of the ecstatic chanting choir, their tearful grief and joy. Thus the harmonizing of harmoniums to weave all sounds into heavenly symphony.

Like the melodic drone of this beautiful instrument, Sophia’s sacred primordial Om forever drones a unifying tonal field that bridges every individual sound. From On High in the Light Realms, down into the dense fields of matter, the sensual sound waves of Om weaves and holds the sacred tapestry of Hearts and Creation together.

Indeed, Om is the primordial Love Song of Life, harmonizing each and every seemingly separate living creature into the unified, quantum Whole. For this reason, Om is the primordial sound of divine union.

union: u ’n i one ~ you and I are one

Communing with Sophia and Her Primordial Om in this ceremony is thus truly sacred. In singing Her ancient hymn to you, She calls you into joyful union with your crystalline Higher Self, and by extension, into a reunion with your Family of Light. To the degree you are open and ready, you awaken an embodied, resonant remembrance of belonging in Her Arms, Heart, Womb — y-our Home. You remember this primordial sound as something deeply familiar — your own Song of Creation, the Homecoming Song of Love.

Coming home to Om serves to awaken your heart to your unique Soul Song. It empowers you to sing what the world needs to hear from you; to be your longing to contribute your Soul Music to the awakening world, and beyond to the Greater Symphony whose eternal Love Song unites all, calling all beings into remembrance, calling all home.

As you share your Soul Song, if only to yourself, or amongst the quiet of Mother Nature, you join the Songs of the Spheres, with each planet and star having its signature, tonal frequency waves transmitted across the Multiverse. Harmonized in their infinitely diverse uniqueness, their music forms the perfect Symphony of the Heavens, with roots in Sacred Primordial Om.

“The sky and its stars make music in you.” ~ Inscribed at the Dendera temple in Egypt

Awakening Om in your body, heart and mind dissolves that which veils you from this ineffable divine inheritance, your place of belonging. Namely, Om dissolves the painful, disharmonious distortions of trauma and programming, the un-crystal-like molecules of your temple form, giving rise to separation consciousness. Chanting sacred primordial Om in this ceremony, Divine Mother purifies these painful shadows spanning lifetimes and generations, returning you to your inherent crystalline Soul state, harmonized with Her in sacred adornment and embodiment.

All this occurs in incremental stages of integrated awareness, again, to the degree you are open and ready.

Gradually, as the shadows of old dissolve, you return to the Garden of Innocence, of Wonder, of Enchantment. You return to the felt-knowing that you are the warm, spiral frequencies of Rose naked to the ear, the child’s cry for her mother, the haunting howl of windsong, the pattering melodies of rainfall, the silent sound of soul twinkling in the other’s eyes.

You return to your peaceful, loving radiant Self ~ Om.

Via the link below, you are guided to set healing empowerment intentions for anything you want. Nothing is too much to ask from the Divine Mother of All Life. Please consider any concerns / ailments you have, whether they be mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.

Most of all, trust your Holy Heart, and that Sophia and Her Heavenly Om will know exactly how to serve your embodied Homecoming.

Secrets in “Welcome”

As you can tell, I enjoy peering deeply into the secrets worlds of words, discovering hidden meanings and sharing them. The word welcome holds many insightful and delightful treasures that weave together what we’ve been exploring with Om. Let’s now look at some together.

Like wisdom, a word also filled with secrets, the first and last consonants of welcome symbolize the divine feminine and masculine principles, respectively. W, of woman, has two downward facing points, representing the descending impulse generally associated with the feminine. M, of man, has two upward facing points, representing the ascending impulse generally associated with the masculine. Creation begins in the feminine womb, also starting with W, and from the Divine Mother births the divine masculine, or M. M follows W in welcome, womb, woman and wisdom, and serves it!

But let’s focus on welcome!

We can playfully imagine that the first syllable of welcome is a shortened version of well. In ancient times, like springs and streams, wells were considered magickal portals to the life-giving, amniotic seas of the Feminine Mysteries. Guarded over by ladies of the lake, wells spoke the primeval language of descent into the dark, watery underworlds, or womb-worlds, of our bodies, Mother Earth, and our Divine Mother. There we go to undergo spiritual rebirth and gather treasures of archaic, feminine wisdom.

This age-old, archetypal journey is revealed in the descent of Goddess Inanna of ancient Sumer (later Ishtar of Babylon), Persephone of the Eleusinian Mysteries of ancient Greece, as well as Alice in Wonderland. Each is a feminine figure, courageously showing the way of descent into darkness, where one faces their fears, is purified by the waters of life, then rises into the light of day, born anew.

In the Gospel of Thomas, one of the early Christian texts of the Nag Hammadi Codex found in Upper Egypt in 1945, Jesus is quoted as saying, “There are many who stand round the well, but no one to go down into it.” In Old Worlds, there, at the holy well, we gathered around, hearing the echos of our ancestors and the ancients, of the water spirits, who speak the perennial wisdom of descent, of dark, cleansing seas, and the baptismal rebirth that follows.

Going down and in, into the feminine underworld, we find the El of Well, meaning God in the Jewish tradition. In the Hebrew Bible this Semitic word is the most common name used for our Supreme Creator. When you see Elohim it refers to the plural of El, that there is more than one God. El is found at the end of four of the five Chief Archangels — Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel. (Metatron is the other, in case you are curios.) You also see el at the end of angel, and thus archangel. When we see welcome, we can imagine the first syllable inviting us down into the dark, watery well for initiation, where we remember the angels we are; that We are El — WEL. We are God/dess, one with the Divine Mother of All Life! Hence, Jesus’s words in Genesis 10:34: “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?”

Come, down into the well, so you, at long last, realize who you truly are,” whispers the Ancients from the primeval waters. And having given yourself to the Feminine Mysteries within the still, black womb, Om arises — of welcome. Welcome home! In heavenly joy, Om sings from the deep well of no-thing you are. It sings you into being, echoing across time.
