Mary Magdalene was a radiant force of spiritual leadership and divine femininity two thousand years ago; and she continues to be as an Ascended Master whose overlighting presence loves and liberates countless souls across the Cosmos. She now invites you to this sacred ceremony, offering her support in your bold path of leading and living from your sovereign Feminine Christ light, and raw, unapologetic humanity.
At a time when wives and daughters were by Hebraic law property of the husband / father (Deuteronomy 22:13-21 & 28-29), imprisoned at home as utilitarian objects (“…he will rule over you.” Genesis 3:16), and at danger if walking the streets, Mary Magdalene bravely stood tall on the stage of service, shining bright in her Divine Feminine Christ embodiment. For three years she worked alongside Jesus, co-leading their public ministry in which they offered teachings, healing empowerments, and initiations to the sick, poor, lost and confused, to great numbers subjugated to the dark rule of the Roman Empire and Pharisees.
Like Mother Mary, she has been purposely portrayed as far less than she actually was. Christian theology tells us she was a shameful sinner of the city; that she lay prostrate at the feet of Jesus, completely desperate and disempowered, cleaning his feet with her tears and hair, and with seven demons cast out by Jesus. (Luke 7:36-40 & Mark 16:9). These lies diametrically oppose the reality that Mary was a fully awakened woman and initiated adept who stood equal to Jesus. It’s a useful fabrication for Church and State whose mission has been to suppress Divine Feminine consciousness and its possibilities for truth and empowerment. These are the lies of a millennia-old dark patriarchal consciousness absolutely terrified of the wild, sexual, magickal power of the Feminine Christ, a collective spell that projects hatred onto women, still to this day.
You may be interested to know that the word “sin” associated with Mary, and countless others, particularly women who’ve carried the contrived burden of Eve’s “original sin,” is cognate with the Latin “sinister,” meaning “left.” The Left Hand Path is the path of the Divine Feminine, the Way of the Feminine Mysteries. The left side of the body is considered the feminine half, guided by the creative, intuitive domain of the right brain, the hemisphere that develops first.
In suppressing the “sinister” Feminine Christ, dark masculine forces made their Right Hand Path the right path. From the Latin “dextera,” the right side has been the dexterous or skillful side, as Mor & Sjöö passionately elucidate in their book The Great Cosmic Mother. For thousands of years “right” has been the patriarchal way, with foundational programming at home, church and school. Illusions of dextera have defined androcentrism as the path most followed, with billions deceptively lured from the Sophia Christ Consciousness Mary and Jesus brought to the world, a feminine heart consciousness inherent to us all.
“…let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doth.” (Matthew 6:3)
Sin holds some other secrets for us about ancient, suppressed feminine wisdom. Sin, or Su’en, was the Akkadian Moon Goddess of Mesopotamia, with “sin” being the word for moon. This meaning was likely exported south to Egypt, where Mount Sin-ai was, and still is, the Mountain of the Moon. Resting majestically on the Sinai Peninsula, it’s the beautiful peak I climbed many moons ago, in the late 90’s, with a 5am departure to catch sunrise at the top. According to Biblical scripture, it’s also the moon mountain Moses trekked to retrieve the 10 Commandments from Yahweh — Moses’s revelatory sunrise! Or moonrise! One can playfully imagine that Moses had to climb the winding Left Hand Path of this sacred mountain, and that this was part of his initiation into being a servant to the Goddess! (Moses has the same root as moon; as does mother, which is Om spelt backwards, our Divine Mother‘s primordial birthing cry.)
Within the Assyro-Babylonian pantheon, in which Nabû and Nanâ were a married God and Goddess, we find reference to the lunar Sîn. Here is an entry celebrating the festival of their wedding, under sacred moonlight:
From the Ezida (temple) (Nabû) emerges at night-time, shinning like a star at night,
Splendidly like Sîn, illuminating the darkness…
He enters the presence of the Lady (Nanâ)…
On the bed of the sweet night they lie down to the sweet sleep.
Moon rhythms, as we know, are also associated with menstruation, the sacred rite of passage of death and rebirth. Yet moontime was made sinful, even demonic and dangerous across phallocentric religious cultures. Oh! Menstruating woman thou’rt a fiend. From whom all nature should be closely screened, states this old rhyme, later found in a Scottish medical text in the 20th century. In Leviticus 15:19 it states, “When a woman has a discharge, and the discharge in her body is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.” Indeed, women in their moontime, and their sacred, healing blood-elixir, were to be feared and hidden in shame with the rise of patriarchal dominator cultures. This is a stark deviation from Mother cultures of old that honoured moontime ceremoniously, with women often gathered together in womb caves or under moonlight.
Sin tells us something else, a beautiful secret that pulls these threads together. With etymological roots in Indo-European “es,” sin means “to be.” The Divine Feminine inherent to all is primordial, as being. It’s this sin-full Sophia Christ Consciousness that Mary embodied 2,000 years ago, as a fully realized being; and it’s what she’s here to radiate to you in this sacred ceremony to initiate your Divine Feminine embodiment.

In the face of such oppressive perversions and extremism, Mary Magdalene is a heroic example of Divine Feminine leadership. She has certainly played a major role in guiding my leading light and flowering Rose Heart. She’s walked with me, step-by-step, as a guide and dear friend, and truly, a family member, whispering tender words of wisdom and love, while being fierce at other times. She’s been with me, fanning my Flame of Truth, as I’ve walked through the dark wilderness of uncertainty and doubt, facing fear after fear, which is what standing in our power usually demands.
There were times I was acutely sensitive to the immense suffering in the world, as my heart broke to new thresholds of vulnerability and grief. I questioned why I felt so intensely and if I should be more emotionally or spiritually detached from the agonies I was witnessing. Mary reminded me of her own experience in Palestine — that just because she was an awakened woman and empowered leader didn’t mean she had no moments of vulnerability. “I was still human,” she told me. “I wasn’t invincible.” As an open-hearted empath, she was greatly affected by what she saw during this dark period, especially how women were brutally treated. And she wasn’t afraid to feel her big emotions, whether they be grief or outrage. She wasn’t afraid to own her raw humanity, and lead from it.
It was this willingness to be human that had her be a shining example of anthropos, or divine embodiment — an advanced, luminous human being, grounded in her body and Mother Earth. Her Higher Self led through her vulnerable and very real humaneness, making her relatable, approachable, a safe person for the pained masses, particularly women, to turn to and see themselves in. This, still today, is one of Mary’s great teachings, to myself and countless others — that spiritual maturity comes not from avoiding our emotional body and painful wounds, nor does it come from attempting to attach to positive thinking in the face of tragedy; rather, the spiritually mature person courageously embraces all that comes with being a raw, everyday human being in a chaotic world. Only through the initiatory gateway of heartbreak and the humility that coincides do we expand our capacity to compassionately embrace our own darkness, and serve the darkness of the world.

We are always at the front of the room, which is a wonderful way to understand leadership and service. We are always having an impact, with each breath, gaze and touch.
