Vince Gowmon, CPCC, BBA, loves what he does for a living, and feels blessed to do it. And he loves seeing the faces of his participants light up with joy, clarity and insight as they connect with each other, themselves and the learning.
Vince is the founder of Remembering to Play Events. All his life he has enjoyed playing, and since 1998, he has lived his other passion of supporting others to create their life with joy and purpose. Remembering to Play Events is his opportunity to combine the two, giving people a playground to discover their authentic Self and laugh along the way!
Vince is a Certified Professional Life Coach trained through one of the top accredited coaching programs in the world, The Coaches Training Institute, and their Leadership Program. Vince leads custom designed Keynotes, Playshops and Webinars for organizations, conferences and communities on topics such as Leadership, Communication, Engagement, Inclusion, Intuition, Teambuilding, Creativity and of course, Play. His events are fun and interactive, leaving people inspired and with practical tools for work and life.
He also offers private Individual, Relationship and Group Coaching on the phone, in person, and via Skype for everyone from entreprenures, to single moms and executives, on all aspects of wellbeing.
Vince is the author of Let the Fire Burn ~ Nurturing the Creative Spirit of Children. This fun and inspiring “Children’s Book for Adults” is a poetic journey in to the creative fire of children, and how to fan its flames.
He has been featured in the media several times including BCTV, City TV, CKNW Radio and The Coaching Show.
He volunteers his time and leads workshops for various organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society (Camp Goodtimes), North Vancouver Recreation Commission, Friends for Life (for people with life-threatening illnesses), the NorVan Boys & Girls Club, and various non-profit organizations.
When Vince is not teaching, he is with family and friends in the outdoors, dancing, hosting parties, swimming, skating, skiing, playing board games, or writing music and singing.
Vince likes to randomly include strangers in unexpected, playful dialogue! It's always a joy to see people's reactions when they are suddenly having a friendly conversation with a complete stranger. In that moment, the invisible walls of separation dissolve!
